Witnesses say the fire started at the back of the bus, close to the engine, while it was moving through the area. Thankfully, the crew of another People’s bus nearby quickly put out the flames.
The fire sparked fear among female passengers, leading to chaos as they hurried to leave the bus. Unfortunately, some women were injured in the rush, though thankfully, there were no fatalities reported.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, which disrupted traffic temporarily in the vicinity. Passengers praised the quick response of the bus crew in preventing a more serious incident.
