The German Ambassador to Pakistan Bernhard Schlagheck took a ride on his 80-year-old bicycle to the Foreign Office. However, it was the occasion of the World Bicycle Day.
German Ambassador to Pakistan posted a video on Twitter, he elaborated the advantages of cycling on health and he also shared how the refreshing it felt when he did a bicycle ride till the Foreign Office.
Bernhard Schlagheck further added that “Cycling is quite fun and it is also good for health. Being physically active also strengthens the immune system?.
The United Nations officially recognized the World Bicycle Day on June 3 to recognize bicycling as an effective and inexpensive means of transport. However, it also assists in enhancing social mobility with health benefits.
