Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf or PTI govt will reveal the federal budget 2020-21 on Friday (today).
Pakistan Federal Budget 2020-21 will be over RS 8 trillion. The government will reveal its second annual budget with the key thrust to deal with the ongoing COVID-19 or Coronavirus pandemic with the fiscal interventions.
Hammad Azhar, the Federal Minister for Industries and Production, will give the federal budget 2020-21 speech. The govt will make effort to stop overall budget deficit at over 8% of GDP.
FBR tax collection has been conceived at Rs4.95 trillion and non- tax revenue target of around Rs1.2 trillion for the next budget.
It is expected that the public sector employees will receive increment in salaries and pension around 10 to 12%.
In practice, there is no absolute distinction between �discretionary� and �non-discretionary� areas of expenditure.
If the current trends prevail, within just a few years there will be no space in the budget for the development plans that�ll have very serious long- term impact on the national development of country.
