The veteran host and scriptwriter Anwar Maqsood has contracted the Coronavirus. However, he has quarantined himself after tested positive for COVID-19.
As per reports, he has requested his fans to pray for his health. Ahmed Shah, the President of Arts Council of Pakistan, updated well-wishers about his health. He said that Anwar Maqsood undergone multiple tests and has been advised by doctors to rest. Earlier this month, he was seen during the 13th International Urdu Conference at Karachi.
Anwar, 85, is a prominent name in Pakistan?s showbiz and literary circles. He wrote several hits during his career as the talk show host, scriptwriter, and humorist.
