Cricket Australia Chief Executive Nick Hockley on Sunday the board is working with all stakeholders to make the tour possible.
According to a local media outlet, Hockley said, ?We just had a team go over to Pakistan to do a recce.”
He added that, “We’re working closely with the PCB and authorities to make sure that those plans are set. It’s a really big complex endeavour. We?re very committed to touring,” he added.
The chief executive of Cricket Australia further said, “First time in many, many years his team will be touring Pakistan.?
Hockley termed it as Australian team?s absolute intention to tour as long as it would be safe to do so.
Earlier, on November 8, the Pakistan Cricket Board had announced the details of Australia?s first tour of Pakistan since 1998 in March and April next year.
The tour will comprise of three tests and ODIs apart from one T20.
