Toyota intends to broaden its pickup truck portfolio in Thailand by introducing a more muscular and off-road capable Hilux model.
In September 2022, Toyota introduced the Rogue in Australia. Whereas, several spy photos suggest that the Hilux Rogue will soon enter the Thai auto market.
Body and Design
The production model has new wheels, off-road tires, wider wheel arches, a higher posture, and a few external cosmetic trim pieces. Hilux Rogue, a direct rival of the Ford Ranger Raptor, offers each of these upgrades.
Engine
A similar turbocharged 2.8 liter, 4-cylinder diesel engine used in the Hilux Rogue produces 201 horsepower and 500 Newton-meters of torque. The engine is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission with lockable distinctions for off-road driving and four-wheel drive.
Wheels and Brakes
An upgraded rear stabilizer bar, 18-inch alloy wheels, and rear-vented disc brakes are among the characteristics of the rogue model.
Height
The Toyota Hilux Rogue’s ride height is 20 millimeters higher than previous models thanks to some modest suspension changes, providing improved ground clearance.
In comparison to other models, Rogue’s front and rear tracks are 140 millimeters wider. In this case, the broader footprint enables improved surface grip.

Tow ball and wiring for the trailer

The Hilux Rogue belongs to the luxury automobile class in Australia where its price equates to Rs. 10.7 million. However, given its popularity and great demand, it is expected to become successful in any market.
