After enduring several scorching days, residents can expect a slight decrease in temperature today. The city recorded a minimum temperature of 24.5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum is expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.
However, humidity levels are set to remain high, averaging around 80% during the day and dropping to 50% in the evening. Sea breezes are expected to be absent, with prevailing winds coming from the west and south-west.
In neighboring areas such as Larkana, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Khairpur, and Dadu, temperatures are expected to range between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius. Similarly, Hyderabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mithi, and Mirpur Khas are likely to experience temperatures between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius. In Badin, Thatta, and Sajawal, temperatures are anticipated to be in the range of 34 to 37 degrees Celsius.
Notably, Karachi experienced exceptionally high temperatures on October 1, 2023, with the mercury soaring to 41 degrees Celsius. The city had previously witnessed its hottest day of the year, with a recorded temperature of 40.6 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels are expected to average around 45 percent during the day and drop to 25 percent in the evening.
