Winter Vacation Regulations: Private Schools in Lahore Face Strict Measures
In a recent development, the education authority in Lahore has imposed a ban on the reopening of private educational institutions during the winter vacations. This directive comes with a set of regulations that schools across the city must adhere to.
According to the new guidelines, schools are prohibited from conducting exams during the holiday period, and teachers are not required to be present on school premises during this time. The move is aimed at ensuring a break for both students and educators.
Strict penalties await institutions that fail to comply with these regulations. In case of violations, heavy fines or even the revocation of school registration may be enforced. The Education Authority Lahore has already formed inspection teams to monitor and enforce these regulations effectively.
The monitoring process will be overseen by Deputy District Education Officers (DEOs) and Assistant Education Officers (AEOs) in five different tehsils. Schools found in breach of the holiday opening ban may face fines of up to 200,000 rupees or have their licenses canceled.
Pervez Akhtar Khan, CEO Education Lahore, emphasized that these regulations are designed to be implemented with 100% compliance. The move aims to bring about a standardized approach to the winter vacation period across private schools in Lahore.
