In a significant stride towards enhancing the visitor experience at Lahore Zoo, the Chairman of the Planning and Development Board Punjab, Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, has revealed plans to unveil cutting-edge hologram 3D images of animals, alongside a host of other upgraded facilities.
Expressing his vision for a thriving and developed Punjab, Chairman Sahoo conveyed his aspirations during a recent visit to Lahore Zoo. He emphasized the commitment to elevating the standards of the region, with a particular focus on the well-being of the wildlife.
During the visit, Mubeen Illahi, Director General of the Wildlife Department, provided a comprehensive overview of the ongoing renovation and construction endeavors at Lahore Zoo. Illustrating the concerted efforts made, Illahi affirmed, “We are tirelessly working around the clock to rejuvenate the zoo and ensure a world-class environment for our visitors.”
Highlighting the pivotal enhancements, Illahi outlined the introduction of an array of new species, including parakeets, mona monkeys, Arabian Oryx, pumas, and more. The improvements extend beyond the animal exhibits, encompassing upgrades to the main entrance gate and the living spaces for the zoo’s inhabitants.
