Notably, mountainous areas in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may witness both rain and snowfall, while plains in Punjab and upper Sindh could experience foggy conditions.
In another development, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) anticipates the onset of winter with the first snowfall in Murree and its surrounding areas on January 9th. This event is poised to mark the beginning of the winter season, bringing a picturesque blanket of snow to the renowned hill station.
The PDMA advises residents and travelers to be prepared for a drop in temperatures in Murree, Galyat, and nearby regions due to the anticipated rain and snowfall.
