Governor Kamran Tessori, in a Monday press conference outside the inter-board office, declared zero tolerance for student abuse. He expressed solidarity with all victims in the province and addressed the alarming 66% failure rate among Karachi’s children in the recent examinations.
Tessori commended the Commissioner of Karachi for taking proactive measures to improve the affairs of the Karachi Board. In a move to ensure fairness, he announced that the examination copies of ten children who scored 80% in matriculation would undergo scrutiny.
Governor Tessori pledged to cover scrutiny fees for children whose parents can’t afford them, aiming to ease the financial burden. Despite the limited scrutiny requests received, he urged more parents to come forward, assuring a fair and transparent process.
