PTI Protests in Punjab Today: Find All Locations and Details Here!

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) gears up for widespread demonstrations across Punjab, decrying the delay in election results and alleging rigging during the Feb 8 polls.

Various strategic locations have been earmarked for the protests, strategically aimed at voicing dissent peacefully. PTI leader Hammad Azhar, via social media channels, has disclosed the designated protest sites.

In central Punjab, the protests are slated to unfold at pivotal points including Lahore Press Club, Masjid Chowk Kasur, and Kutchery Chowk Nankana Sahab, among others. Similarly, in north Punjab, gatherings will take place in key areas such as Rawalpindi’s F-9 Park and Election Commission office Jhelum.

Meanwhile, the PTI’s plans to stage protests in Islamabad faced a setback as the district administration declined permission, citing concerns over potential disruption of peace. With Section 144 in place, citizens are urged to refrain from participating in any political assemblies.

This refusal underscores a firm stance from the administration to maintain law and order in the capital. The Islamabad police have been instructed to swiftly intervene against any unauthorized gatherings.

In the face of denial, the PTI remains resolute, emphasizing the importance of addressing alleged irregularities in the electoral process. Despite obstacles, the party remains committed to championing its cause through peaceful means, echoing its dedication to democracy and transparency.
