Huda Kattan, the creative mind behind the renowned cosmetics brand Huda Beauty, has announced her comeback as the company’s CEO. She had previously stepped down from the position in 2020, a decision she now admits was a mistake.
In a candid video, Kattan shared her experiences and the crucial misstep that almost put the company at risk. She stressed the significance of self-trust when making business decisions.
Looking back, Kattan realized that she had allowed external influences to overshadow her instincts. This realization led her to reclaim her role as CEO, with the affirmation, “I am reclaiming my authority as Huda Beauty’s CEO.” She highlighted that her success was largely due to her trust in her instincts.
In line with the company’s progression, Kattan unveiled plans for a rebranding set to take place by the end of 2024. The revamp will introduce a fresh logo and revamped product packaging.
Interestingly, certain products, such as the GloWish line, will be discontinued as Kattan feels they no longer resonate with her. This strategic move underlines Kattan’s dedication to ensuring the brand reflects her vision and principles.
