With the advent of the sacred Ramadan month, the Establishment Division has unveiled a new schedule for federal government employees. The revised timings aim to ensure smooth operations while respecting the sanctity of the holy month.
The federal government institutions will operate from 9 am to 3 pm for five days a week. For those working six days a week, the office hours will be from 9 am to 2 pm. On Fridays, the working hours will be shortened to 9 am to 12.30 pm.
In a similar move, the Balochistan government has also adjusted the office timings for the provincial capital, Quetta. Regular office hours will now be from 9 AM to 3 PM, enabling employees to wrap up their work by early afternoon. On Fridays, the office hours will be further reduced to 9 AM to 1 PM.
For offices that operate six days a week, the Ramadan timings will be from 9 AM to 2 PM on regular days. However, on Fridays, these offices will wrap up operations earlier, closing at noon. This move ensures that the spirit of Ramadan is upheld while maintaining the efficiency of government operations.
