UAE Ramadan Moon Sighted – In a significant announcement, the UAE’s Moon-sighting committee confirmed the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan on Monday, March 11. The sighting of the crescent Moon on Sunday evening marked the beginning of this auspicious month in the Islamic Hijri calendar.
