In a bid to enhance travel convenience and accommodate the surge in passengers during Eid-ul-Fitr, Pakistan Railways has unveiled plans to run 4 special trains across the country. Chief Executive Officer Amir Ali Baloch has directed the implementation of these arrangements to ensure a seamless and comfortable travel experience for passengers from Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta.
Speaking about the initiative, Amir Baloch highlighted the importance of providing relief to travelers during the festive season. He emphasized the need to offer special services such as Eid Special trains to meet the increased demand and ensure hassle-free journeys for passengers.
Furthermore, the CEO of Railways mentioned the possibility of reducing fares on Eid if there is a noticeable decrease in the prices of petroleum products. This move aims to further ease the financial burden on passengers and make travel more affordable during the festive period.
