The Chief Minister’s House in Punjab has confirmed that the funds have already been allocated and dispatched to the respective deputy commissioners for distribution. This move is seen as a significant step towards promoting interfaith harmony and inclusivity.
As per the 2023 census data, the Hindu population in Pakistan stands at over 2.21 million, out of a total population of approximately 241.49 million. This initiative by the Chief Minister is a nod to the significant contribution of the Hindu community to the cultural and social fabric of Pakistan.
