In a significant announcement by the President of Religious Affairs, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, the schedule for Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers in the Haramain Sharifain during Ramadan 2024 (1445 AH) has been approved.

This year marks a special acknowledgment by the General Presidency for Religious Affairs, recognizing these seven permanent imams at Masjid Al Haram. The announcement also confirms the departure of Sheikh Yasir Ad Dawsary.
Similarly, for Masjid An Nabawi, the following imams have been acknowledged as permanent leaders for the Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers:

- Sheikh Abdur Rahman Al-Sudais
- Sheikh Abdullah Awad Al Juhany
- Sheikh Maher Al Muaiqly
- Sheikh Bandar Baleelah
- Sheikh Faisal Ghazzawi
- Sheikh Saleh Al Humaid
- Sheikh Usaamah Khayyat
This news comes after a meeting where Sheikh Sudais engaged with the Imams of Masjid Al Haram and Masjid An Nabawi, along with the Imams and Muadhins, in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan.
The departure of Sheikh Ahmad Hudaify and Sheikh Khalid Muhanna from Masjid An Nabawi has also been confirmed by the Presidency. These announcements set the stage for a spiritually enriching Ramadan experience at the Haramain Sharifain, underscoring the continuity and excellence in spiritual leadership.
