Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has rolled out a significant fare reduction of up to 30% for Pakistani pilgrims, residents with visas, and workers traveling to Saudi Arabia. This limited-time offer, effective from April 7 to April 11, 2024, caters to travelers bound for Jeddah and Madinah, making the journey more affordable during the Holy month of Ramadan.
Under this initiative, PIA has reduced economy class fares by up to Rs50,000. For instance, passengers departing from Lahore can now book an economy seat for Rs103,680, while travelers originating from Karachi and other southern regions will pay Rs95,400, presenting a cost-effective travel option for those embarking on their pilgrimage journey.
This move coincides with PIA’s recent strategic restructuring plan, where the airline has shifted its debts and losses to a holding company. This restructuring has garnered attention from key players in the aviation sector, positioning PIA as an attractive investment opportunity amidst its efforts to enhance service offerings and financial stability.
