According to the latest update from the Meteorological Department, Karachi and the wider Sindh region are expected to experience hot and humid weather during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. Temperatures are likely to soar, with the mercury potentially touching 39 degrees Celsius. However, there’s a slight relief in sight as temperatures may drop to a range of 36 to 37 degrees Celsius in Karachi.
The Meteorological Department also announced that Eid-ul-Fitr is projected to fall on April 10, with the Shawwal moon expected to be sighted on April 9. The moon’s appearance is scheduled for 11:21 pm on April 8 and will last between 19 to 20 hours, becoming visible for over 50 minutes around sunset.
As people prepare for the festive occasion, it’s advised to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions against the hot weather conditions, especially during outdoor activities and gatherings.
