The Fitrana Amount 2024 Pakistan has been officially announced by the Shariah Board of Pakistan. The board has set the minimum amount for Sadaqah-e-Fitr and Fidya at Rs300 per person for the year 2024.
Dr. Mufti Muhammad Zafar Iqbal Jalali, the chairman of the Shariah Board, clarified that the minimum Fitrana amount of Rs300 per person is equivalent to 2 kilograms of wheat flour. The same amount, Rs300 per person, has been set as the Fidya for those who miss a fast due to poor health or other reasons.
It’s important to note that the Fitrana Amount 2024 Pakistan is a minimum guideline. Wealthier individuals are encouraged to contribute more than the minimum Fitrana amount, based on their financial capacity.
In addition to the base Fitrana amount, the Shariah Board has also provided specific values for different food items used in Fitrana. These include Rs600 for oats, Rs2,400 for dates, and Rs4,400 for raisins. For those who miss the entire month of Ramadan, the Fidya rates are Rs9,000 for wheat flour, Rs18,000 for oats, Rs72,000 for dates, and Rs132,000 for raisins.
Every Muslim is obligated to pay the Fitrana or Sadaqah-e-Fitr before the end of Ramadan, marking the conclusion of the holy month. This is a key aspect of the Fitrana Amount 2024 Pakistan guidelines.
