The cause? A series of westerly winds making their way into Balochistan tonight. These winds are expected to bring showers to several districts in Sindh tomorrow, including Jamshoro, Nowsherofroz, Dadu, Thatta, Sajawal, and Badin.

But it’s not just Karachi that’s in for a wet spell. The Meteorological Department also forecasts rain in Jacobabad, Kashmore, Sukkur, and Larkana on April 18th and 19th.
According to meteorological analyst Jawad Memon, this weather system is stronger than the previous one, with an expected rainfall coverage of over 90 percent in Balochistan. The southern areas may witness heavy rainfall, and hailstorms could also be on the cards in Balochistan from the evening of April 17th.
