Karachi, the vibrant city of Pakistan, is all set to welcome Ibrahim Raisi, the President of Iran. The city adorned with welcome banners along Shahrah-e-Faisal, a gesture from the Prime Minister and the President of Pakistan.
Traffic Diversions and Security Measures in Karachi Today
As part of the security plan, several roads have temporarily closed, with law enforcement personnel deployed at strategic points. M.A. Jinnah Road, a key artery, has blocked from Gurumandar, with containers placed on the routes leading to the Saddar path. Similar arrangements seen on other streets branching out from M.A. Jinnah Road.
The route from Shahrah-e-Quaideen leading to Numaish has also sealed off, with containers placed around Peoples Secretariat Chowrangi.
President Raisi, accompanied by a delegation, scheduled to land in Karachi this afternoon. A warm reception awaits him, led by Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
The Iranian President’s agenda includes a visit to the mausoleum of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, to pay his respects. He also slated to meet the Governor and the Chief Minister of Sindh. A meeting with partners of the Business Forum at the Chief Minister’s House is on the cards, followed by a dinner.
