Karachi, the bustling metropolis, continues to sizzle under the sun with temperatures soaring to 40 degrees Celsius yesterday. The city’s residents brace themselves for another scorching day as the mercury is expected to hit similar levels today.
The Meteorological Department forecasts that the ongoing heatwave will persist until Thursday, keeping the city in its fiery grip. The sweltering conditions have made Karachi the hot spot of the country, with the highest temperature recorded on Monday being 41 degrees in Nawabshah.
While most regions across the country are predicted to experience dry weather today, there’s a silver lining on the horizon. The Meteorological Department anticipates possible rainfall in select areas including Islamabad, upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, and Kashmir.
