Will Karachi Find Relief from Scorching Heatwave in The Evening Today?

Karachi, Pakistan’s most populous city, is currently experiencing a severe heatwave. However, relief is on the horizon as meteorologists predict a slight dip in temperatures by evening, with a chance of partly cloudy skies.

Over the next 24 hours, Karachi’s weather is forecasted to remain hot and humid, according to the Meteorological Department. The city, also known as the city of Quaid, has recorded a minimum temperature of 27.3 degrees Celsius, with the mercury expected to hover between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius at its peak.

Karachi’s wind is blowing at a speed of 11 kilometers per hour, contributing to a humidity level of 70 percent. This high humidity intensifies the heat, making the day feel hotter than the actual temperature.
