Karachi Matric Exams in Turmoil: More Paper Leaked via WhatsApp Groups

In a shocking turn of events, the Karachi Secondary Education Board has been hit by a wave of exam paper leaks. The most recent incident involved the Class 9 Chemistry paper, which was circulated on various social platforms, including WhatsApp, hours before the examination.

Despite the board’s assurances of stringent measures to prevent such incidents, the cheating mafia managed to infiltrate exam centers, casting a shadow over the credibility of the invigilators and board observers. This incident underscores the urgent need for a robust system to safeguard the integrity of examinations.

Earlier, the Maths paper and several others were also leaked online, adding to the growing list of breaches. The recurring leaks have raised serious concerns about the effectiveness of the measures implemented by the board.

The provincial authorities had previously taken notice of the mismanagement and chaos during the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual Examination 2024. However, their efforts seem to have been in vain as no significant improvement was observed, with another paper leak occurring in the country’s largest metropolis.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the challenges faced by educational institutions in preserving the sanctity of examinations and the need for more effective strategies to combat such malpractices.
