In an official notification released on Wednesday, the Balochistan Education Department announced the vacation periods for different climatic zones. The aim is to ensure students in the most affected regions can escape the intense summer heat.
Heat-Prone Areas:
Schools in these areas will enjoy an extended summer break starting May 15 and ending on July 31. This schedule is designed to protect students from the extreme temperatures that characterize these regions during the summer months.
Cold Areas:
Recognizing the milder summer conditions, the Education Department has scheduled a shorter vacation for schools in cold areas, beginning on July 22 and wrapping up on July 31.
This announcement provides families with the opportunity to plan their summer activities accordingly. The extended break in heat-prone areas ensures children can stay indoors during the hottest part of the year, while the shorter break in colder regions reflects the less severe summer conditions.
