Passport Renewal Fees in Germany:
- Normal 5-Year Renewal: Now Euro 36/-
- Normal 10-Year Renewal: Now Euro 54/-
- Urgent 5-Year Renewal: Now Euro 70/-
- Urgent 10-Year Renewal: Now Euro 105/-
(Note: Additional 1 Euro bank charge applies for debit card payments at the consulate)
New Passports Fees in Germany:
- Normal 5-Year Passport: Euro 72/-
- Urgent 5-Year Passport: Euro 140/-
(Note: Plus 1 Euro bank charge if paid by debit card at the consulate)
These fee adjustments aim to streamline the passport issuance process and cater to varying applicant needs. Applicants are reminded to follow all necessary procedures diligently, including providing the required documents and payments.
The delivery period remains approximately 5 to 6 weeks for normal passports and 2 to 3 weeks for urgent passports, factoring in transit from Islamabad to Frankfurt. It is highly recommended that applicants check the Consulate General’s website for passport availability before collection.
Applicants can collect their new passports in person during specified hours, or designate an authorized individual with a signed authority letter. Alternatively, passports can be delivered via post with appropriate postage stamps and a self-addressed envelope.
In case of lost passports, additional requirements and fees apply. It’s crucial for applicants to secure their passports to prevent loss and ensure a smooth travel document experience.
