The Karachi Board of Education has resumed the secondary education board exams today, which were previously postponed due to extreme heat. This resumption marks a significant day for thousands of students who are now ready to continue their academic assessments.
Matric Exams Schedule and Subjects
The exams are divided into two shifts to accommodate different groups. In the morning shift, Matric science students will be taking their Sindhi paper. The afternoon shift will cater to the 9th class general group, featuring the Geometrical and Technical Drawing paper. Additionally, the SSC Part 1 students will also have their Modern and Art Drawing exam in the afternoon.
Approximately 160,842 matric science students are expected to participate in today’s exams. In parallel, over 16,000 9th class general students will also be sitting for their respective papers.
To ensure a smooth examination process, 505 centers have been set up across Karachi. These centers are equipped to handle the large number of students and ensure that the exams are conducted in a controlled and fair environment.
It’s important to note that the matric exams in Karachi initially scheduled between May 21 and May 27 were deferred due to the severe heatwave in Karachi. This decision was made to ensure the safety and well-being of the students and staff.
