Police Officers Banned from Creating TikTok Videos: Official Notification

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Kashif Zulfiqar announced that police officers and officials in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) are now prohibited from creating and sharing videos on social media platforms specifically Tiktok. This new measure aims to prevent potential impacts on police performance and ensure the integrity of the force.

The directive specifically restricts KP police from posting videos and performing on social media platforms. This decision follows earlier limitations on social media use by police personnel. In a letter to police officers, SSP Operations Peshawar emphasized the importance of avoiding non-official WhatsApp groups and other social media channels. He underscored the detrimental effects that spreading false and sensational news can have on police morale.

SSP Zulfiqar warned that there would be strict monitoring of compliance with these guidelines. Those found violating the new rules will face disciplinary action, highlighting the seriousness of this directive.

This move is intended to enhance the overall performance and professionalism of the KP police force, ensuring that their focus remains on maintaining public safety and order.
