Meteorologist Ovais Haider has provided insights into the expected weather conditions in Karachi during the Eid festivities. While rain is unlikely, Karachi residents can anticipate humid and partly cloudy skies during this period.
According to meteorologist Ovais Haider, Karachi is set to experience moderate temperatures ranging from 33 to 35 degrees Celsius during Eid. The daytime will witness partial cloudiness, with maritime clouds lingering during morning and night hours. Winds blowing from the southwest will maintain a steady pace, contributing to the overall atmospheric conditions.
As for precipitation, Karachi is unlikely to receive any rainfall during Eid. However, the onset of the monsoon season is expected towards the end of June or early July, potentially extending till the end of August. This period may bring intermittent showers to the city, offering relief from the summer heat.
From June 13 onwards, Karachi may witness drizzles in the morning and night, enhancing the overall humidity levels. While there’s no immediate threat of a heatwave, residents should prepare for humidity levels ranging from 50 to 60 percent during the day and up to 80 to 90 percent at night.
In summary, Karachiites can expect a mix of moderate temperatures, partial cloudiness, and increasing humidity during Eid. While rain is not on the immediate forecast, the monsoon season’s arrival later in June or July might bring relief from the dry weather.
