Karachi is gearing up for a hot and dry day, with temperatures reaching up to 37°C. The weather is not expected to cool down soon, as the humidity level is around 65%, making it feel even hotter.
Despite the heat, there’s a small silver lining. The Meteorological Department has predicted that from June 15, Karachi might see some drizzle. This light rain could bring much-needed relief, although it might also add to the humidity.
Elsewhere in Pakistan, the central and southern regions will stay very hot today. But Gilgit-Baltistan could get some evening thunderstorms and light rain, offering a break from the heat. In Islamabad and nearby areas, it will stay dry and hot, with possible rain in Chitral, Kohistan, and Battagram.
Strong winds are expected in Balochistan’s southern districts, and the upper areas of Sindh will remain very hot, while the coastal parts will be humid.
If you are in Karachi, stay cool and look forward to the possible drizzle from June 15 for a short break from the heat.
