Good news for Karachi this Eid ul Adha! Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori announced a special gift for residents. Tenants who use less than 300 units of electricity each month will be eligible for free solar panels. This initiative is aimed to reduce electricity bills and promote renewable energy in the city.
In addition to the free solar panels, Governor Tessori also announced plans to launch a job portal after Eid. This online platform will connect skilled youth in Karachi with employment opportunities abroad.
Thinking of those affected by crime, the Governor also shared that today, families of victims of street crimes will receive sacrificial goats for Eid. Additionally, 20,000 ration bags filled with essential food items will be distributed to underprivileged families across Karachi.
