In a dramatic twist, the case of Pakistani woman Seema Haider and her four children has escalated, with new revelations emerging about their journey to India. Ghulam Haider, the children’s father, through his Indian lawyer Momin Malik, has addressed letters to the Presidents of Pakistan and Nepal, alleging a troubling abduction.
According to reports from private TV channels, the letters claim that Seema Haider and her children were not taken to India willingly but were abducted from Nepal. The incident supposedly occurred on May 10, 2023, when they were illegally transported from Kathmandu Airport to India.
The accusations center around Sachin Meena, who allegedly is keeping the four children in Rambagh Colony, Uttar Pradesh, India, and coercively attempting to change their religion. This act, described as human smuggling, has sparked outrage as it reportedly transpired on Nepali soil, violating local laws including the Foreigner Act.
The letters, copies of which have been forwarded to authorities including Anti-Human Trafficking Kathmandu and Nepal’s Ministry of Home Affairs, urgently request intervention to secure the children’s safe return from Sachin’s alleged illegal custody.
The situation underscores international legal breaches and has prompted responses from various quarters including the Nepali Embassy in Islamabad. It’s pertinent to recall that Seema Haider’s previous journey to India last year, following her association with PUBG, resulted in her arrest alongside her children by Indian authorities.
