During a recent provincial cabinet meeting, several key decisions made to bolster the “Apni Chat Apna Ghar” program’s impact. Notably, approval granted for an increased night duty allowance for doctors, aimed at improving healthcare services in remote areas. Additionally, the introduction of the Punjab Kisan Card also approved, designed to benefit farmers across the region.

Healthcare and Administrative Reforms:
In a move to streamline healthcare management, the cabinet decided to reassign administrative control of Data Darbar Hospital to the Primary and Secondary Health Department. This decision underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery and efficiency.

Other Decisions and Initiatives:
Furthermore, the cabinet addressed various other crucial matters, including adjustments in retirement benefits for government employees and amendments in property transfers and revenue services registration under the Registration Act of 1908.
