The Punjab government has introduced the ‘Roshan Gharana’ program, aimed at providing solar panels on easy installments to electricity consumers across the province. 3. Employment Status: Government employees are not eligible.
4. Relocation: Families with a Punjab ID card but living in another province are eligible.
5. Electricity Bill: Must have paid electricity bills for the last six months.

• CNIC: Scanned copy of the applicant’s Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).

1. Visit Local Bank of Punjab Branch: Go to your nearest Bank of Punjab branch.
2. Obtain Registration Form: Get the registration form from the bank representative.
3. Complete the Form: Fill out the form thoroughly, ensuring all required information is correct.
4. Attach Documents: Attach copies of the necessary documents to the registration form.
5. Submit the Form: Submit the completed form to the bank representative.

Approval Process

After submission, your application will be reviewed by the relevant authorities. You will receive a notification regarding the status of your application once it is processed.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has called a meeting of the Punjab cabinet tomorrow to formally approve the ‘Roshan Gharana’ program. This initiative is a significant step towards promoting renewable energy and supporting low-income households in Punjab.
