The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced that the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) will be held on September 22, 2024. PMDC President Professor Dr. Rizwan Taj confirmed that the MDCAT will take place simultaneously in Pakistan and overseas. The exam syllabus will be uploaded on the PMDC website next week.
To help students, the PMDC decided not to change the syllabus. Professor Dr. Rizwan Taj stated that this decision is in the best interest of the students. He has instructed all provincial secretaries to start preparing for the MDCAT exam.
Last year, about 180,534 students took the MDCAT. This year, around 200,000 students are expected to take the test, according to Dr. Rizwan Taj. The MDCAT paper will be designed to be student-friendly while maintaining high standards. “Our students’ bright future is our top priority,” emphasized the PMDC President.
The PMDC is committed to making the admission process transparent. All universities have been instructed to ensure this, said Professor Rizwan Taj. Further details about the MDCAT exam, including the schedule and registration process, will be available on the PMDC website in the coming days, confirmed the PMDC President.
