Good News for Pakistani Electricity Consumers Using Up to 200 Units

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has unveiled the fixed charges for domestic electricity consumers. There will be no fixed charges for those using up to 200 units. Consumers using between 301 and 400 units will be charged Rs. 200 per month, while those using between 401 and 500 units will be charged Rs. 400 monthly.

For usage between 501 and 600 units, the fixed charge will be Rs. 600 per month. Consumers using between 601 and 700 units will see a fee of Rs. 800 per month. Lastly, those using more than 700 units will have a fixed fee of Rs. 1,000.

These charges are part of NEPRA’s efforts to regulate electricity costs and ensure a fair billing system for all domestic users.
