The Ministry of Education declared that government schools in Islamabad will now operate on Saturdays.
A circular released by the Ministry confirms that this new schedule will be effective from August 10. The decision is aimed at enhancing educational standards and providing additional learning opportunities.
The Ministry also revealed that Saturdays will feature two extra classes dedicated to language and mathematics. These sessions are designed to reinforce students’ skills in these crucial subjects.
Importantly, attendance for these Saturday classes remains optional, giving students the flexibility to choose whether to participate.
