A new monsoon spell is set to enter Sindh on August 26, bringing the prospect of more rainfall to the province, according to meteorologist Anjum Nazir Zaighum. Karachi, in particular expected to experience significant rain on August 27 and 28, as the monsoon season continues its course.
Despite the ongoing monsoon season, Karachi’s rainfall intensity is forecasted to remain mild, with only light showers anticipated. The weather across most districts in Sindh today will stay hot and humid. However, regions like Jacobabad, Dadu, Jamshoro, and Karachi may see rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds later in the day.
In Karachi, the minimum temperature was recorded at 29°C, with the maximum expected to reach 33°C. Winds are blowing at 16 kilometers per hour from the southwest, with humidity levels at 64 percent.
On Tuesday, Karachi experienced an overcast sky, with the sea breeze persisting and light rain and drizzle reported in various areas. The weather forecast suggests that this pattern will continue, with cloudy skies and light rain expected during the evening and night over the next few days.
