Al Baik Saudi Arabia in Pakistan: Popular Fast Food Chain to Launch Soon

Al Baik Saudi Arabia is all set to explore new opportunities in Pakistan as the famous fast food chain expands its horizons. This exciting development came after a recent MoU signed between Saudi Arabia’s Al Baik Food System Company and Gas and Oil Pakistan Ltd (GO), marking the first steps toward the chain’s potential entry into the Pakistani market. The deal signed during a high-profile visit led by Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment.

In total, 27 MoUs signed between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, covering various sectors such as energy, agriculture, mining, cyber security, and more. This collaboration comes as part of a larger push to strengthen ties between the two nations, with Saudi Arabia playing a key role in its Vision 2030 initiative. The MoUs signed under the guidance of Saudi Minister of Investment Engineer Khalid Al-Falih and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during a ceremony held in Islamabad.

Al Baik Saudi Arabia’s CEO, Rami Abu Ghazaleh, expressed his excitement about entering the Pakistani market, stating that the company is currently studying the market and will soon begin its operations. With Pakistan’s growing food scene, Al Baik’s entry seen as a significant move.

Interestingly, Saudi Aramco, already a player in Pakistan’s oil and gas sector, has a 40% stake in GO. This collaboration highlights the strong bond between the two nations and reflects Saudi Arabia’s strategic focus on expanding its global economic footprint, especially through investments like these.

Apart from the Al Baik venture, other major deals were struck, including a $70 million investment in Pakistan’s agriculture sector, semiconductor manufacturing, textile industry projects, and a white oil pipeline initiative. Additionally, both countries agreed on exploring more investment avenues, hybrid power projects, cyber security upgrades, and the export of Pakistani spices and vegetables. This marks a new chapter in Saudi-Pakistani economic relations.
