Renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik recently concluded his visit to Pakistan, where he praised the country’s hospitality and expressed admiration for the warmth and love shown by the Pakistani people. Dr. Naik, who was in Pakistan on an official visit at the invitation of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, conveyed his deep appreciation for the hospitality extended by both the government and the citizens of Pakistan.
During a public address, Dr. Zakir Naik remarked, “The reception I received in Pakistan exceeded my expectations. I thank Allah for making this visit a success and express my gratitude to the government, especially the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain, for the high-level arrangements made during my stay.” He acknowledged the warm welcome and coordinated efforts, describing it as “ten times more than I imagined.”
Pakistan’s Role in Promoting Islamic Unity and Peace
Highlighting Pakistan’s unique status as the only country founded in the name of Islam, Dr. Naik encouraged collaboration between religious scholars and political leaders. “Pakistan’s scholars and leaders should unite, working together in alignment with Islamic principles to advance the nation’s development,” he stated.
Dr. Zakir Naik stressed the need for unity within the Muslim community, urging all Muslims to set aside differences and embrace the guidance of the Quran and Sunnah.
