Metro Bus Rawalpindi: Route Closures Announced (Check Details)

The Rawalpindi Metro Bus service is not operating today between Saddar Station and Faizabad. The administration has announced this suspension is necessary for track repairs. People who usually rely on this route might face some inconvenience but don’t worry, there’s good news for those traveling from Islamabad. The Metro Bus service from IJP Road to the Pak Secretariat will keep running as usual, so that’s a relief.

The Rawalpindi Metro route rehabilitation is no small task. It costs around Rs. 718.945 million and is expected to be finished by December. So, if you’re planning to travel on this route, just hang in there. The authorities have promised to resume the service as soon as the repairs are done. They are working hard to make it happen.

As for the progress, six out of the planned 20 sites have already been completed. This includes parts of important bus stations like Shamsabad, Rehmanabad, Waris Khan, and Liaquat Bagh. It’s great to see some progress being made, but there’s still a long way to go before everything is back to normal.
