Petrol, Diesel Prices in Pakistan Remain Unchanged Till November 30: Latest Updates!

The federal government has announced that petrol prices across Pakistan will remain steady for the next two weeks. This decision comes as a relief for many, especially with concerns of potential hikes in the air.

According to the latest notification issued on Friday, the price of petrol remains unchanged at Rs248.38 per liter. Similarly, high-speed diesel will continue to be sold at Rs255.14 per liter. No changes have been made to the prices of kerosene oil or light diesel either, ensuring that the rates stay as they are till November 30.

Earlier, there were whispers of a possible price hike due to global factors. Sources suggested that petrol prices could have gone up by Rs2.58 per liter, while high-speed diesel might have seen an increase of Rs5.91 per liter. The international premium on petroleum products and rising import costs had fueled these speculations.

However, despite the rising costs on the global front, the government decided to maintain the current prices. This move is seen as an effort to ease the burden on the public amidst ongoing economic challenges.

For now, people can breathe a little easier knowing there won’t be any sudden increases in fuel costs. But with the global oil market remaining unpredictable, the future of petroleum prices in Pakistan continues to be a topic of interest for everyone.
