The Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has launched an ambitious initiative to empower students with state-of-the-art technology and scholarships. In line with this vision, the Chief Minister directed that laptops distributed among deserving students under the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme within the next 90 days. The scheme will provide Core i7, 13th-generation laptops to top-performing students in Matriculation and Intermediate exams.
Laptop Distribution for Top Students and Minorities
The CM Punjab Laptop Scheme aims to reward the best-performing students across Punjab. Top position holders from the Matriculation (10th class) and Intermediate (F.Sc) exams will receive laptops along with a Guard of Honour. The initiative will also ensure that 2,000 minority students granted these high-tech devices, enabling them to further their educational pursuits with cutting-edge technology.
Scholarships for Thousands of Students
In addition to the laptop distribution, the Punjab government will provide scholarships to students from both government and private institutions. The scheme will benefit 30,000 students from government schools and 10,000 from private schools across the province.
The Chief Minister’s Honhar Scholarship Program will also extend financial assistance to 18,000 female students, supporting their academic journey and promoting gender equality in education.

CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif has reaffirmed her commitment to enhancing educational access and opportunities in Punjab. The provincial government will allocate over Rs 125 billion annually to cover the educational expenses of 25,000 students.
