Bushra Bibi, the wife of PTI chairman Imran Khan, has firmly stated that the party’s planned protest on November 24 will take place as scheduled. In a rare video message shared by PTI on social media, Bushra Bibi denied rumors suggesting a change in the protest date, emphasizing that it would only be delayed if her husband is released from prison and provides the public with a course of action.
Her message came shortly after the Islamabad High Court declared the PTI’s protest “unlawful,” ordering the government to maintain order in the capital. Despite this ruling, Bushra Bibi urged the public not to believe the rumors and to join the protest as planned.
In her message, she also discussed the alleged foreign conspiracy that led to the removal of Imran Khan’s government. She recalled how, after Imran Khan visited Madina barefoot, then-army chief Gen. Qamar Jawed Bajwa received calls questioning Khan’s leadership. Without naming specific countries, Bushra Bibi suggested that foreign powers were unhappy with Khan’s stance on Sharia law and sought to undermine his leadership. She claimed her husband kept this issue private and called for accountability from Gen. Bajwa and his family.

In support of the protest, PTI leader Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar expressed defiance, vowing that the protest would happen as scheduled. He warned the government against using force, saying that while the protest was intended to be peaceful, the party could not guarantee calm if provoked. Bhachar further criticized the ruling coalition, stating that the PTI would not engage in talks with “puppets” and accused the government of blocking access to cities like Lahore.
