The Ministry of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony has asked the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to extend the services of 15 designated banks over the weekend. This decision aims to help people who wish to apply for Hajj 2025 and deposit their dues.
To make this process more accessible, the SBP has instructed that branches of these banks remain open on Saturday, November 30, and Sunday, December 1, 2024. The operating hours for these branches will be from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
The designated banks are:
- National Bank of Pakistan
- Habib Bank
- United Bank
- MCB Bank
- Allied Bank
- Bank of Punjab
- Bank Alfalah
- Zarai Taraqiati Bank
- Faysal Bank
- Askari Bank
- Bank Al-Habib
- Habib Metropolitan Bank
- Soneri Bank
- Meezan Bank
- Bank Islami
These banks are authorized to collect Hajj applications and dues for the upcoming Hajj season from November 18, 2024, until December 3, 2024.
This initiative is part of the government’s effort to streamline the Hajj application process and ensure that pilgrims have enough time to submit their applications. If you’re planning to perform Hajj in 2025, make sure to visit any of these branches this weekend to complete the process.
