An earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale struck Quetta, sparking fear and anxiety among residents.
According to the Seismic Monitoring Center, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 15 kilometers beneath the earth’s surface. The tremors were strong enough to be felt in different parts of the city, leading people to evacuate their homes.
Eyewitnesses reported that residents, reciting Kalima Tayyiba, rushed to open spaces in fear of aftershocks. Fortunately, no immediate reports of casualties or damage to property have been received.
This incident comes shortly after tremors were experienced in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Swat, and several other cities across Pakistan just days ago.
