Punjab’s Higher Education Department (HED) has announced the Punjab school winter vacation schedule, confirming the break for all public and private colleges across the province. Starting December 24, 2024, the holidays will run until January 5, 2025. This much-anticipated break gives students and staff a chance to unwind and enjoy the festive season. Classes will resume on Monday, January 6, 2025, with regular academic routines.
Interestingly, BS 4-Year programs will continue as usual during this period, ensuring that ongoing academic schedules remain unaffected. Additionally, the HED has assured that exams planned by boards and universities will be held according to their original dates without any delays.
Revised Punjab School Winter Vacation Schedule
The Punjab Education Department has slightly adjusted the winter vacation schedule for schools. Instead of the earlier announced date, schools will now close from December 23, 2024, to January 10, 2025, offering a 21-day holiday. Classes will restart on January 13, 2025.
Meanwhile, Sindh’s Education Department has also shared their winter vacation plan. Schools, including those in Karachi, will be closed from December 21 to December 31, 2024, and classes will resume on January 1, 2025.
This Punjab school winter vacation plan brings a perfect balance between a relaxing break and maintaining academic continuity for students. While colleges and schools gear up for their respective schedules, these holidays promise a refreshing pause for everyone.
