Initially, the winter holidays were planned to begin on December 20 and conclude on January 10, 2025. However, the Education Department recently updated the schedule, pushing the start date to December 23 while extending the reopening date to January 13.

Winter Vacation Schedules in Other Provinces
- Sindh: All public and private schools in Sindh will observe winter holidays from December 21 to December 31, 2024.
- Balochistan: In districts with severe cold weather, including Quetta, winter vacations began on December 16, 2024, and will last until February 28, 2025. In warmer areas, schools will remain closed from January 1 to January 10, 2025.

Students in Punjab are encouraged to utilize this break to prepare for upcoming exams or engage in extracurricular activities. Schools will resume on January 13, 2025, with regular academic schedules.
